New team leaders

Trey and Denise Shaw and family

We’re excited about the changes that are currently going on as the IMB restructures all across Europe. In Hungary, the western, eastern and Budapest teams have been combined and now form one united team, led by Trey and Denise Shaw.

Trey and Denise moved to Budapest in 1998 to serve with an organization that staffed Christian teachers in public schools. In 2000 they returned to Texas where Trey finished seminary. They were appointed as career missionaries by the IMB in 2005 and landed in Budapest that summer. During the last 16 years they have been involved in three church plants, serving as lead planters of the last two.

Pray for the Shaws and the team as we continue through this time of transition, that God will be glorified and the gospel ministry strengthened among the people of Hungary.

Farewell to Paul and Tena Brock

Paul and Tena BrockAfter many years of service, our friends, co-workers, and IMB Hungary Team Leaders Paul and Tena Brock retired in December of 2020 and returned to the U.S.

We are grateful for their obedience to the call of God on their lives and for how He has used them to touch so many people with the love of Christ.

Paul and Tena, you will be very missed — may God continue to bless and use you in the next stages of life!

“I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”   Phil 1:3-6 (NIV)
